i am sudheer here. i was in stanes in hostel from 1972 to 1979. it was a memorable life in stanes and nobody from stanes can ever forget our good old school!!!!!!!i am in bangalore with my family ,two sons.

Dont remember you but it sounds like we were probably in the same dorms at around the same time. I was there only for a year and I think it was in 78 and I was in the sixth grade. Man! I remember Mr Underwood he was in charge of the dorm, he was something else. I was also in the same class as Mr Woods daughter, I think her name was Ann and Mrs Woods was also one of my teachers, can't remember what she taught.
My name is Basil by the way, I do remember someone else with the same name except I think he spelt it as Bazil. Anyway, this was fun.

Very few muslims were there then so its easy to remember. Joined the school when Wood was princi and Underwood deputy in VIth and do remember when he went on and joined St Josephs.
I cant tell you how happy i am to find someone or maybe mmore during my times there.
do you know of anymore people from then and do you have any pics from those golden times??

This is Simon was in Stanes for 4 years and in the hostel for 3. The year when our Princi Mr. David retired I was in the 10th Standard. I remember Mrs.Abraham our Bio Teacher and Mrs. Harshawardane was the VP and our English Teacher...

This is Jaiprakash here!!! Studied in Coonoor Stanes between 1971 to 1979, was in
hostel under Warden Mr Underwood anyone remembers me? I am now in coimbatore and tomorrow am
visiting Coonoor and hopefully will go to our school!!! Excited its going to be pure Nostalgia!!!
